RGB LED Neon Flex
Color changing neon light is a powerful way to add visual interest to a commercial or public building. With the latest in LED technology and easy to use controls (or DMX lighting controllers if you need it), your company can create imaginative, custom-designed lighting to perfectly suit your purposes, while enjoying the energy efficiency and low maintenance of LED lighting.
Popular Uses of RGB Neon Light
There are many unique uses for color-changing red, green, and blue neon light. While cove lighting, which is indirect lighting created with flexible lights installed near the ceiling, creates a dramatic effect when used with color-changing RGB lights that are hidden, sometimes you want the RGB lights to be right out in direct view of the public. This is where the RGB flexible neon shines! It creates an alluring, continuous glow of color-changing or custom color light, but without the glaringly bright and distracting pixelization that occurs when you look directly at other RGB LED lights.
The RGB neon lights can be used creatively to draw the public’s eye to retail displays, to attract attention at a company’s trade show booth, provide building perimeter lighting, or highlight both indoor and outdoor architectural features. In these cases, you can create special custom color mixing to match your corporate logo. Often used in casinos, theaters, malls, building atriums, and other entertainment venues, the effect of direct view RGB lighting is stunning.
Color changing neon light displays are also used by hospitality industries such as hotels, country clubs, bars, restaurants, and clubs. Game rooms, theme parks, and other amusement areas use neon rope lights to pump up the fun and excitement at their facilities. Flexible neon light can be run along the lengths of bars and counters for stunning ambient lighting, or around room features such as columns and other structures.
RGB Neon Layouts
The RGB LED Polar 2 Neon Flex uses the same controlling parameters as the Trulux family of LED tape lights from American Lighting. So let's take a look at some of the lighting setups you can use to control this amazing color-changing neon light and which products should go with each setup. Use the numbered diagrams to reference the different components of the RGB Neon/Trulux system:
- The Controller: Performs dimming and/or color control operations.
- The Driver: Provides power to the low voltage RGB neon light. Driver wattage should be sized according to length of attached run(s).
- The Receiver: Receives the wireless signal from the controller.
- The Neon Light: Smooth and continuous color-changing light source.

Using Trulux Mobile App (Single Zone)
The RGB Polar 2 Neon is controlled via an app on your Apple or Android mobile device (smartphone or tablet), which communicates over WiFi to the receiver. The special WiFi Receiver will create its own WiFi network that you connect to in order to control the lights. The Trulux app is a free download from the App Store and Google Play.
Using Trulux Mobile App (Multi Zone)
The color changing LED neon light is controlled via an app on your Apple or Android mobile device (smartphone or tablet), which communicates over WiFi to the Trulux Hub.
